Aahh, Clayton & Clayton, my very first Plello film. As well as my very first film to premiere at a local cinema. I thought it would be a good time to showcase Clayton & Clayton on Plellovision considering that it’s being featured on NSI’s website (National Screen Institute).

Which is to allow the viewer (that’s you by the way, and thanks again for watching) a chance to choose the fate of my next “Square, Circle, Triangle” video. On my birthday (last Friday) I went out to shoot some footage because it was so beautiful out. I took the footage and mixed it with some animation and here’s what I got. Three squares bouncing around in the colors of red, green, and blue. Yippee!
For all you nerds out there, I motion tracked it in After Effects and color corrected in After Effects. Every little shadow, reflection and blur was done in After Effects as well.

I got the idea to do a series of shorts involving these three characters after I created my first Plellovision ender (you know the one where they say: “ple” “llo” “vision” in sequence? It’s at the end of this video if you haven’t seen it). I like it because all the characters are just plain silly and have a child like demeanor to them. I laughed a lot when making this film, so I hope you enjoy!
